BRAID CUTTING MACHINE
FUNCTION
Length-defined cutting of copper shielding braids up to Ø 0.2 mm for assembling shielded cables up to a diameter above braid of max. Ø 14 mm.
SPECIALITY
PATENTED CUTTING CONCEPT
Two oscillating cutter discs with internal cutting edges cut the shielding braid safely, cleanly and precisely without damaging the underlying cable structure.
The handling is simple, repeatable and injury-proof.
THE DESIGN
THE OPERATION
Adjust and fix the length stop, the measurement on the scale corresponds to the length of the shielding braid to be cut.
Then switch on the machine.
Push the stripped cable through the cutting element opening up to the length stop. By rotating it with slight pressure along the oscillating blades (clockwise and anticlockwise), the shielding braid is cut off and falls into the the rest of the tray underneath.
For processing longer cables, turn the longitudinal stop to one side. Insert the cable through. To define the length of the remaining shielding braid, use the linear guidande (scale front) with the measuring unit.
MAINTENANCE
General cleaning of the screen cutting machine after each use and cleaning of the blade block at least once a week.
